I wanted to use a model for this. My vision was someone, lost and seeking help, praying in an abandoned church ruin.
But as I worked with it I think a model would have stolen the focus from the magical and majestic feeling.

I put a photo of a sunset over the images, blured it pretty much and set the layer to overlay

Then I used selective colour to make the colors more intensive... I used a layer with colour dodge to paint the highlights in the broken roof and the pillars.
